Job Description:We’re looking for a Part Time Logistics Assistant to join our Central Production Unit team in Bermondsey, London SE16.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on clear communication, coordination, and problem-solving. You’ll play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of our freshly prepared food to clients across the UK – liaising with drivers, managing dispatch queries, and ensuring our logistics run like clockwork.
We Offer:
Rate: £20,000 per annum (pro rata)
Shifts: Tuesday to Thursday (3 days/week), approx. 7am – 4pm
Contract: Part Time / Permanent
About the role:
- Act as the key point of contact between our drivers, internal teams, and external clients regarding deliveries and dispatch updates
- Monitor van maintenance schedules, temperature records, and general upkeep of delivery vehicles
- Ensure accurate communication and respond promptly to client queries with professionalism and clarity
- Support the account manager with logistics coordination and delivery planning
- Assist with general administrative tasks including quotes, orders, invoices, and menu updates
- Help identify and implement improvements to logistics processes and customer service
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment within the Central Production Unit
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A polite and professional telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and solve problems independently
- A flexible team player willing to support other areas of the business when needed
- Familiarity with London geography is a plus, but not essential
- Reliable, efficient, and proactive in day-to-day tasks
