Vacancy: Project Manager - Spain

Location: Almussafes, Valencia (on-site).

The Program Manager mission is the coordination and management of resources (human and material) for the development of the work in the automated welding lines. Coordinates the project with customers, internal staff and suppliers.

The tasks that the PROJECT MANAGER will develop are the following ones:

• Technical and economic management of IT8 projects.
• Preparation and monitoring of project planning.
• Definition of the project strategy: Local own resources, own resources of the IT8 group, subcontracting.
• Elaboration of RFQ for subcontracts. Evaluation of them.
• Follow-up meetings with customers / suppliers.
• Support for technical meetings with customers / suppliers.
• Management and monitoring of project costs. Preparation of the budget based on the offer / contract.
• Supervision of the project status in the ERP for supervision from the plant.
• Definition and monitoring of billing milestones, as well as technical delivery / acceptance of projects.

What will you need as a successful Project Manager?

• Degree in Electronic, electricity, mechanical, telecommunications engineering Degree. Master design, Installation and Maintenance of Industrial Automation Systems or similar.
• Proven experience as project manager in the automotive industry or similar in terms of technology 5-6 years.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and equipment.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• English and Spanish knowledge is required.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel as required (mostly to Europe countries).
