The Role

Are you an experienced sales leader with a passion for building teams, driving results, and shaping growth in a fast-scaling tech company? Do you want to lead a talented sales team in a company at the forefront of financial automation through AI? Semine is now looking for a Sales Lead in Belgium – to take ownership of our growing Sales Executive team for Benelux and to play a central role in our international expansion.

In this role, you’ll lead and develop a team of Sales Executives while driving sales growth and shaping the company’s expansion in your market. Join a forward-thinking company that combines cutting-edge technology with a strong team spirit!

As Sales Lead at Semine, you will be responsible for both driving your own sales processes and leading a local team of Sales Executives. You will play a key role in driving growth in your market (Norway or Sweden), ensuring strong individual and team performance, and contributing to Semine’s international success.

In this hands-on leadership role, you will coach and support your Sales Executives in handling complex B2B sales processes, making sure the team meets targets and builds strong relationships with senior finance decision-makers such as CFOs and Heads of Accounting. You will also collaborate with SDRs, marketing, and delivery to secure smooth processes across the sales cycle and provide valuable input for continuous product and market development. You will also have the opportunity to shape the strategy, structure, and culture of your local sales team, influencing how Semine grows in your market.

Responsibilities

  • Driving your own sales processes and achieving individual KPIs and targets
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a local team of Sales Executives
  • Ensuring strong team performance and supporting Sales Executives in complex B2B sales processes
  • Building and maintaining relationships with senior finance decision-makers (e.g. CFOs, Heads of Accounting)
  • Collaborating with SDRs, marketing, and delivery to ensure smooth handovers and effective sales cycles
  • Managing and optimizing sales pipelines in HubSpot CRM
  • Contributing to Semine’s market growth and international expansion strategy

Requirements

  • Several years of experience in B2B sales within IT/software solutions
  • Proven track record of leadership, with responsibility for leading and developing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of complex sales processes with multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, invoicing, or ERP systems is advantageous
  • Post-secondary education in sales, business, or a related field is a plus
  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in Dutch is highly beneficial
  • Structured, goal-oriented, and able to drive both individual and team success
  • Resilient, adaptable, and motivated by building and scaling new markets
