Join our Global Media Partnerships Team in Salzburg, Austria, and lead and grow strategic relationships with key media partners in the assigned territory.

Job Description:

Relationship Management & Strategic Alignment

In this role you'll act as the primary contact for local markets and regional media leads, building and managing partnerships (e.g., content licensing, co-marketing, and co-productions) and also to facilitate communication between HQ and markets to address needs, share best practices, and review partnership proposals. Another part of this role is to translate HQ strategies into market-specific plans that align with global KPIs, while mentoring the Media Partnership Manager and fostering collaboration through case studies and kick-off calls.

 

Partnership Optimization & Activation

Supporting the execution of local campaigns, you'll provide essential resources such as toolkits, creative materials, and implementation guides. Your role will include monitoring performance, consolidating insights, and conducting business reviews to identify opportunities for enhancement. You'll also take an active part in negotiating, renewing, and optimizing partnerships while working closely with creative teams to develop localized content, campaigns, and co-marketing initiatives tailored to specific markets. campaigns, and co-marketing initiatives.

 

Operations & Market Support

Onboarding and training partners and regional teams to ensure alignment with HQ processes will also be part of your role as well as hosting workshops, meetings, and events with media partners and clients to drive engagement. You'll also represent the network at events to identify new opportunities and strengthen relationships.

 

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Monitoring partner deliverables, campaign outcomes, and return on investment will be a key focus, leveraging analytics tools to track performance will be part of your role. You'll provide regular updates, share best practices, and deliver strategic recommendations to headquarters and other stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

 

Market Development & Intelligence

You'll proactively identify new opportunities in emerging markets and craft tailored solutions to address specific challenges faced by partners. By gathering and analyzing market data, you will enhance internal intelligence while staying informed of regulatory changes to ensure strategies remain relevant and effective.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of managerial experience in partnership management, media distribution, or business development, preferably in the media industry.
  • Proven success managing high-value local market partnerships and complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Experience in international HQ or regional/local market settings, with cultural adaptability and global collaboration.
  • Strong leadership skills, team management expertise, and a results-driven approach.
  • Knowledge of digital content distribution, platforms, or sports/media rights, with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Team-player mentality with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with flexibility to work independently and travel internationally.
Additional Information:

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is € 2.446 gross per month. However, our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
