We’re looking for a Lead Engineer & CAD Administrator to champion our Autodesk Inventor and Vault systems. In this role, you’ll be the driving force behind efficient design workflows, data management, and engineering support. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, production, procurement, and design teams to bring our projects to life with precision and creativity.

OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer & CAD Administrator to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Autodesk Inventor and Vault systems. This role will focus on ensuring efficient design workflows, data management, and engineering support within a collaborative team environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with CAD software administration, engineering design processes, and system automation to enhance productivity and data integrity.
💡 What You’ll Do
As a CAD Administrator, you’ll manage our CAD ecosystem and help elevate the way we design, store, and deliver engineering content across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain Autodesk Inventor and Vault systems for optimal performance and security.
Configure and enforce CAD standards, templates, and best practices for design teams.
Provide training and hands-on support to engineers and designers.
Develop and implement automated workflows and scripts (iLogic) to boost efficiency.
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline design and data management processes.
Create detailed 3D models and shop drawings that meet EIS design and production standards.
Manage Engineering Service Requests (ESR) and coordinate project timelines and deliverables.
Oversee and ensure data integrity within Vault, including version control and access management.
Support integration between Vault, ERP (Epicor), and PLM systems.
Define best practices for file management, revision control, and collaboration.
Partner with IT to manage software updates, licenses, and configurations.
Maintain compliance with company and industry standards in documentation and safety.

We’re seeking a proactive, detail-oriented engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and loves solving complex technical challenges.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
1–3 years of related experience in a manufacturing or engineering design environment.
Expertise with Autodesk Inventor, Vault Professional, and iLogic scripting.
Experience with wood, metal, plastics, and other commercial furniture materials.
Understanding of GD&T, design-for-manufacturability, and mechanical drafting.
Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor 10 a plus) and data integration concepts.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and solid documentation skills.
Ability to train and mentor CAD users, encouraging consistency and innovation.
