The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of leadership experience in a production environment.

Job Summary
The Plant Manager leads all daily operations of the facility, ensuring efficient production, regulatory compliance, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This hands-on role directs manufacturing, maintenance, warehousing, and distribution to meet performance targets and optimize operational efficiency. Serving as a key liaison between sales, clients, account teams, and production, the Plant Manager oversees workforce deployment, interdepartmental coordination, and the timely execution of schedules and job plans.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)

- Oversees the implementation, training, and communication of safety and quality programs, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Leads the development and execution of preventive and corrective maintenance programs to optimize equipment performance
- Guides plant leadership in the consistent enforcement of operational policies, procedures, and plant rules, including those outlined in collective bargaining agreements when applicable.
- Partners with sales and product development teams to enhance existing products and support the introduction of new offerings.
- Ensures in-process work is routinely inspected by operations teams to maintain alignment with specifications, best practices, and quality standards.
- Continuously monitors industry trends and innovations to identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency gains.
- Maintains a strong focus on core performance areas including safety, quality, productivity (waste reduction, labor efficiency, machine utilization), cost control, and organizational effectiveness.
- Performs additional responsibilities as required to support plant and business objectives.
Other (Non-Essential) Functions

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
- Occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 25--50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to operate standard office and production equipment.
- Visual acuity to inspect products, read technical documents, and use computer systems.
- Occasional bending, stooping, or climbing to access equipment or storage areas.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required (e.g., safety glasses, hearing protection).
- May require occasional work outside standard business hours to support production schedules or respond to operational issues.
- Exposure to:
- Moderate noise levels from machinery and equipment.
- Paper dust, ink, and other printing-related materials.
- Varying temperatures depending on plant ventilation and seasonal conditions.
