QUALIFICATIONS:

• Prior coaching experience or evidence of knowledge in sport assigned to coach.

• Have ability to work with students.

• Have ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, school parents, media and the community.
   

RESPONSIBLE TO:   Athletic Director and Head Coach 
                            

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting the Head Coach in:

• Coaching individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the sport involved.

• Overseeing the safety conditions of the facility or area in which assigned sport is conducted at all times that students are officially present.

• Enforcing the established performance criteria for eligibility in inter-scholastic competition in the assigned sport.

• Enforcing discipline and sportsmanlike behaviors at all times and establish and oversee penalties for breach of such standards by individual pupils.

• Perform other duties consistent with the position.

• To assist the head coach in help each participating student achieve a high level of skill and an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship and an increased level of self-esteem.

SALARY:  $1500
