Position Overview:

Develops, negotiates, and evaluates company contracts on behalf of Air Stream Air Conditioning. Ensures that both parties are complicit with the terms of the contract, as well as ensuring that all contracts abide by local and federal laws.

Essential Job Functions:

• Prepares contracts in the HVAC industry
• Creates and manages a contracts strategy
• Generates reports on the status of existing agreements
• Negotiates contract terms, conditions and pricing and follows up to ensure execution according to the negotiated terms
• Creates standardized language for new contracts
• Analyzes and reports on specific risks associated with contracts
• Builds positive relationships with customers

Key Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Multitasker who enjoys working under pressure

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or Associates Degree
• Two to three years’ experience in contracts administration, preferably in construction industry or a related field like accounting, finance or legal
• Experience working with and managing contracts
