Lockheed Martin is proud to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in developing, operating, and sustaining Homeland Defense Radar (HDR) programs, such as the Long Range Discrimination Radar (LRDR), Homeland Defense Radar-Guam (HDR-G), and Homeland Defense Radar-Hawaii (HDR-H). Our work on these programs continues our strong partnership with the MDA and the Department of Defense (DoD) and enhances missile defense capabilities.
THE WORK
As the HDR Development Program Manager, you will lead the successful execution of multiple Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) and Task Instructions(s) across the HDR Programs with the MDA. This includes overseeing critical activities such as Hardware and Software Development and Implementation, Electronic Protection, Ground and Flight Test, and engineering coordination.
You will:
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve programmatic, technical, and logistical challenges for development scope consisting of Software and Hardware Development, Integration & Test, Systems Engineering, Modeling and Simulation, and Training for the following areas:
o LRDR Inc 6c/7 and Inc 10
o HDR-G Systems\Software including Build 3.0 and Build 4.0
o Open System Architecture Signal Injector LRDR
o LRDR Electronic Protection
o Ground & Flight Tests
o Program / Other
• Manage all program financials including Earned Value Management (EVM), audits, and Estimate at Completion (EAC) reviews.
• Serve as the primary interface for responsible scope areas with the MDA for current and future initiatives.
• Support LRDR capture efforts by contributing to engineering, studies and proposal development across MDA
• Travel domestically as required.

WHO YOU ARE
You are an experienced program manager with a solid foundation in EVMS, development, engineering management, government contracts, and cross-cultural collaboration. You have a strategic mindset, a keen understanding of Program Performance Management (PPM) tools, and the ability to guide cross-functional teams to success. You’re comfortable working with senior stakeholders and navigating evolving requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Basic Qualifications
• Proven experience in program management, production support, or supply chain management
• Works well with all levels of the organization, up to and including senior executives
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to make decisions that impact the program and drive business results

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
