Required Qualifications: Must hold the current necessary credentials to be a CNA coordinator in the state of Ohio or be able to obtain required credential prior to September 8th 2025 .
-Valid Ohio license as a Registered Nurse issued under Chapter 4723 of the Revised Code
-Current "Train-the-Trainer" certificate or able to obtain.
-Minimum of five (5) years of successful work experience as a licensed Registered Nurse, at least one of which was in the provision of long-term care facility services.
-Valid Ohio driver's license
-Must pass criminal background check
-Current Ohio Adult Education Teaching Permit through The Ohio Department of Education or able to obtain
-Ability to communicate with adult and high school learners and provide instruction to prepare students for CNA certification
-Prefer to have experience working with teenagers

Description: Prepare customer-focused programs to respond to the needs and desires of targeted adult student populations

Essential Functions:
- Interact with business and community groups to promote good public relations
- Respond to customer needs in a timely, professional manner
- Keep permanent records up to date
- Prepare supply, material, and equipment requisitions as directed by immediate supervisor
- Prepare correspondence and reports as required
- Determine training needs of business & industry
- Plan course content and methods of instruction
- Prepare outline of program and set course goals
- Teach courses as needed
- Select books, materials, supplies and equipment for training, courses and projects
- Communicate regularly with director and keep informed of all activities
- Assist in conducting surveys and contracts with local business industry for training purposes
- Provide technical assistance with equipment and processes
- Participate in professional development activities as appropriate
- Recruit and mentor instructors for individual programs
- Coordinate activities of program instructors, assigning tasks and monitoring their work
- Mentor new or less experienced Program Developers
- Place school-related telephone calls
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Maintain adult student records
- Perform assessment activities
- Promote positive public relations through personal appearance, attitude and conversation
- Recruit new enrollees
- Make contacts with the public with tact and diplomacy
- Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and employers
- Evaluate part-time instructors performance in the classroom
- Schedule and train part-time teachers for classroom duties
- Develop strategies for increasing sales
- Create and execute a marketing campaign for the program, including development of marketing and promotional materials
- Maintain respect at all times for confidential information
- Interact in a positive manner with staff, students and parents
- Promote good public relations by personal appearance, attitude and conversation
- Attend meetings and in-services as required
- Prepare five-year budget plans for program
- Propose and assist in development of new adult training courses

- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- At least 3 years of related experience
