Instructional Assistant (Full Time) chez ABLE Charter Schools

Come join our ABLE team! The Instructional Assistant provides essential support throughout the school day and in our before and after school Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP). This position play a key role in supervision of students, in classroom support, and provides enrichment activities that promote student growth and success.

Valid first aid and CPR certification are preferred. TB clearance and DOJ background check. Ed Code 45361.5 requires demonstration of competency. It may be satisfied by one of the following: Proof of AA or BA Degree (based on standards set by regionally accredited colleges and universities). 48 semester units with a C- or better (official transcripts must be provided). $17.50- $25.00 per hour based upon experience, college units and qualifications.

The Instructional Assistant assists with the operation, supervision, and support of the elementary program; works directly with elementary teachers as required; and reports to the Elementary Principal, Secondary Principal or designated administrator.
