Physician (MD/DO) – Urgent Care | Up to $25,000 Sign-On Bonus chez Stopwatch Urgent Care

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients presenting to urgent care

• Perform common procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, splinting, and wound care

• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests

• Prescribe appropriate medications and provide patient education

• Document encounters accurately in the EMR

• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient operations and patient satisfaction

Schedule

 • Rotating 3×4 schedule: 3 shifts one week and 4 the next (77 hours per pay period).

• Hours: weekdays run 8 AM–7 PM and weekends run 8 AM–5 PM. No on‑call duties.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $115–$140/hour (approx. $230K–$291K/year), depending on experience and clinic location.

Qualifications

• Licensed MD/DO in Alabama

• Active DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications

• 1+ year of urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care experience preferred

• DOT certification a plus

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient service skills
