Accenture is seeking a highly qualified professional to join the North America Corporate Development (Corp Dev) team as a Financial Due Diligence (FDD) Manager. The Corp Dev team is responsible for identifying and executing inorganic growth opportunities that advance the Firm's strategic objectives. This team works with Senior Leadership directly accountable for the acquisition to execute transactions and to integrate the acquired company into the Accenture ecosystem.

In this role, you will provide financial due diligence for acquisitions, joint venture and equity investments within Accenture’s Corporate Development team. Responsibilities of this role include analyzing the quality of target company earnings, operating metrics, debt and debt-like items and net working capital, which may influence the outcome of the transaction. You will work closely with other operational diligence workstreams (HR, Legal, Tax, etc.) and present key diligence findings to deal-stakeholders, including members of Accenture Leadership. Additionally, you will provide advice to the Corporate Development Deal-Execution team related to purchase agreements and deal negotiation points, ensuring Accenture’s economics interests are protected. After transaction close, you will provide continuity/transition to the post-merger integration and operational finance teams post-closing.
Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Corporate Development FDD Manager position include but are not limited to:
Pre-LOI evaluation and summarization of M&A prospect information discovered through marketing materials, public filings, meetings & calls, and various other sources.
Analyze the quality of Target Company earnings, operating metrics, debt and debt-like items and net working capital.
Analyze the historical and forecasted income statement and balance sheet, customer information, key performance indicators and other information as available.
Develop agendas for Management meetings, conduct meetings with Target Company management, and follow-ups with action items.
Present in Management Meetings with Target Company Management, and Internal Due-Diligence Roundtables with key deal stakeholders, including members of Accenture Leadership.
Support transaction closing process, including review and analysis of the Flow of Funds, Purchase Agreement, and Closing Balance Sheet.
Support purchase agreement negotiations, including net working capital, indebtedness, and other finance-related items.
Support purchase price adjustment true-up process.
Participate in the development of Intellectual Property, including AI agents, lessons learned, best practices, briefing decks, and templates.
Lead team(s) of Specialists/Analysts, overseeing their work and ensuring the quality and accuracy of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) deliverables.
Participate in the recruitment, staffing, training, and development of Specialists and Analysts, ensuring a high-performing team.
Work and collaborate across various workstreams at Accenture including deal execution, post-merger integration, legal, tax and human resources throughout the diligence process.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience with a Big Four firm in an audit, accounting or financial due diligence capacity, or similar background at a major corporation
Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to M&A activity
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Skills
Strong program management skills
Proficiency with AI tools and creation of AI Agents
Excellent analytical, writing, and verbal skills
Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel Skills
Experience in technology products & platforms and/or professional services industries
A good understanding of cross-functional corporate operations (e.g., Business Operations, Finance, HR)
Ability to work on complex projects
Ability to establish strong relationships and trust with executives

Strong work ethic
Proficiency in English both verbal and written
Demonstrated leadership in a professional setting
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
