Central Management Office Dallas Additional Information: Show/Hide - Develop and maintain a network-wide professional learning framework that ensures alignment to Uplift’s instructional vision and International Baccalaureate standards.
- Design scalable systems, tools, and rubrics to ensure consistency and quality in professional learning experiences.
- Provide consultation, coaching, and support to leaders across the Academic team to design and facilitate high-quality adult learning.
- Partner with members of the Academic team to co-develop and align professional learning materials for key initiatives.
- Manage all aspects of major network professional learning events, including but not limited to Summer Leader and Teacher PD, Instructional Collaboration Days, New Teacher Academy, New Leader PD, and other ongoing professional learning experiences.
- Oversee project timelines, logistics, budgets, communications, and evaluation systems to ensure smooth and effective implementation of professional learning events.
- Oversee cross-functional working groups and committees to execute network-level training events.
- Liaise with external partners and vendors to ensure any external professional learning content aligns with Uplift’s instructional priorities.
- Collaborate with Operations and Technology departments to manage logistics and support.
- Create and maintain systems for tracking attendance, engagement, and outcomes of all professional learning experiences.
- Use data to evaluate the effectiveness of PD initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Analyze professional learning data in relation to scholar outcome trends to ensure alignment between adult learning effectiveness and student achievement.
- Partner with the Senior Director of School Efficiency & Effectiveness to align professional learning systems with broader network efficiency goals.
- Maintain awareness of current research and best practices in adult learning, instructional leadership, and professional development delivery.
- Work closely with Managing Directors, Directors of Curriculum & Instruction, and other Academic team members and CMO departments to ensure professional learning is coherent, efficient, and high impact.
- Support the alignment of PD initiatives with other network strategic projects and scholar outcome goals.
- Foster collaboration and shared learning across teams to strengthen leadership development and instructional capacity at all levels of the organization.
- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional learning, instructional leadership, or adult learning systems, at the school and/or school district level. Experience in project management, data-informed decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Special Skills/Certifications: Demonstrated expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and leadership development. Knowledge of learning management systems and the use of educational technology to improve learning is highly preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple stakeholders. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel, students, and parents. Ability to facilitate adult learning to reach outcome objectives.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. - Technology: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in basic office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and Outlook). Experience with learning management systems and technology tools for synchronous and asynchronous learning is highly preferred. Ability to learn and use other software as necessary.

Primary Purpose:
The Director of Adult Learning Effectiveness will oversee network efforts to provide high-quality professional development and learning experiences to ensure Uplift instructional staff can execute our vision for the International Baccalaureate, strong instructional practices, and effective school leadership.
The Director will lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of systems and structures that ensure professional learning is coherent, impactful, and aligned to organizational priorities. This position reports to the Senior Director of School Efficiency & Effectiveness and partners closely with Academic Team (including Curriculum & Instruction, Special Education, Multi-Lingual Programs, Managing Directors of Schools, and International Baccalaureate) leaders to support the development of learning materials and execution of networkwide professional learning events, including Summer Leader and Teacher professional development (PD), Monthly PD for Directors and Deans, New Teacher Academy, Instructional Collaboration Days, New Leader PD, and leader onboarding to instructional systems.
