JOB INFORMATION:- Creates and maintains constructive working relationships with management staff and executive staff
- Ensures consistent communication of the Murray process flow, compliance information by utilizing available mechanisms (i.e., DME regional center websites, internal and external newsletters, web boards, inter-company websites, reimbursements Q/A, etc.)
- Participates in department and company meetings, events, etc.
- Provides clear documentation on training for each Murray associate
- Remains current in company processes and changes through review of pertinent publications, newsletters, workshops and self-study
- Reports findings and resolution of problematic issues and areas as well as general guidance to the Murray leadership staff on how to manage and prevent similar situations from reoccurring
- Reports to the Murray Training Manager the status of all training projects
- Responsible for development of written and electronic training materials
- Responsible for ongoing training of Murray staff as new processes or process failures are identified.
- Responsible for on-site Murray training to include problems identified by the Murray management, supervisory staff, or Internal Audit (e.g.; excessive paperwork errors, payer education, timeliness issues, working reports assistance and etc.)
- Work directly with Murray Training Manager to plan and prepare for Murray new hire training
- Performs other duties as assigned
Employment is contingent on
- Background investigation (company-wide)
- Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
- Valid driver’s license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in healthcare or related field is desired
- One year directly-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and directly-related experience in durable medical equipment prosthetics orthotics and supplies (DMEPOS), billing and collections and training
- Experience in Rotech operations preferred
- Experience with Medicare coverage and billing guidelines for DMEPOS is preferred
- Extensive experience with HRCM and/or eIntake preferred
- Strong customer service background
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with physicians, location employees and patients to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
- Interprets a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
- Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
- Medical terminology
- Multi-task along with attention to detail
- Must be able to accurately perform simple mathematical calculations using addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
- Work independently and as part of a team
Physical Demands
- Lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
- Requires sitting 80%, walking, standing 20%, talking or listening

- Office equipment; fax machine, copier, printer, phone and computer
