This is a critical leadership position where you'll oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department. You're responsible for ensuring all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, leading and motivating your team, and collaborating with the General Manager and other departments to ensure our guests have a memorable stay, embodying our value to "Bring the Energy."
Your Leadership & Operational Duties
As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you are the key manager for quality control, staff performance, and resource management within the department.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Supervision & Quality Control: Supervise and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Use your attention to detail to ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned to the highest standards.
Team Leadership & Training: Lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring they are trained and equipped to deliver exceptional service to our guests. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital here.
Inventory & Organization: Use your organizational skills to maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all guest needs are met promptly and seamlessly, contributing to an enjoyable stay.
Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility by working flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to ensure the department is always operating smoothly.
Qualifications & Essential Skills
This role requires proven supervisory experience, strong leadership, and operational awareness.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience: 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
Supervisory Experience: 1+ years of supervisory experience.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Technical: Experience with hotel property management systems.
Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
