STORE MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION: Deliver friendly, honest, and focused customer service by being part of the Companies team! We do a variety of tasks to keep your day fresh, such as: leading and training the staff, having the ability to increase sales with innovative sales ideas, providing excellent customer service, and management of day to day store operations.
Qualifications
- Responsible for overall operation of store assigned
- Recruit, interview, hire, train and coach store leadership and staff
- Work in close partnership with Food Service Lead to maintain kitchen standards
- Lead store team through constant supervision, training, and feedback
- Motivate, encourage, and challenge store employees
- Conduct store meetings as needed with employees
- Ensure all staff is trained on proper cash handling procedures, pump authorizations, and store is well kept
- Trains staff how to up-sell our customers so they get the most value for their money
- Trains team on how to follow First In First Out method with food inventory
- Motivate others to perform the job and work towards common objectives. Serve as a role model to others instilling a positive attitude in his/her employees
- Monitor cash over/short, inventory shrinkage, and drive offs daily
- Responsible for store profits, and all controllable expenses including labor, inventory levels, and cash and inventory shortages
- Promote and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly, and displayed in a safe manner thus maintaining a quality brand image
- Implement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store is clean, adequately stocked, organized, and well kept
- Implement monthly/weekly promotions, insure all POS advertising/signage is properly posted at the proper time
- Complete daily paperwork and computer entry in a timely manner
- Make frequent inspections of all work, storage, and servicing areas to determine that regulations and directions governing Food Service activities are followed including compliance with safety and sanitation (Meet with Lead of food service area regularly during the day)
- Understand all information in the daily reporting of store operations
- Communicate and perform all price change request, mark downs/ups as requested by management
- Implement and enforce all merchandising and vendor policies and procedures
- Have the physical ability to perform all duties of a store cashier regularly
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and ensures prompt service
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Able to walk and stand for 100% of shift
- Ability to travel for meetings scheduled away from store location
- Ability to work in heated and/or freezer area for stocking purposes
- Able to lift, carry, or push up to 35 lbs.
- Previous retail management experience required
- Must have flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Proven attendance record
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
