The Director of Marketing is one who values Orbus Visual Communications Group’s success and has a strong desire to facilitate brand and marketing strategy and programs for the brands under the Group Umbrella. This position is a marketer’s dream and offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Enterprise VP of Marketing, Brand Managers, Sales Leaders, and more.  This role will have five direct reports who handle brand management, marketing planning, digital marketing program execution, content/campaign creation, new product/solution introductions, marketing toolkit creation more.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the implementation, visual & written identity, and execution of all brands in the Orbus Visual Communications Group
  • Expert understanding of brand/identity development as this role functions as brand leader, content manager/steward/owner and will spearhead brand vision, marketing strategy, and the development and execution of marketing programs and campaigns with brand continuity
  • Responsible for three important facets of each brand’s program:  

1) building/maintaining/evolving a sales & marketing toolkit for sales/dealer use and adoption

2) maintain/develop/enhance marketing programs that build awareness, interest & drive leads & sales conversion

3) Dealer development (where applicable)

  • Marketing Toolkit Development, Enhancement & Maintenance: Works with team to design and develop creative marketing materials and assets inclusive of digital/printed collateral – catalogs, brochures, learning guides, presentations, photo libraries, promotional and educational videos and more
  • Marketing Programs: Works with team to develop and execute go-to-market programs, build websites & ecommerce stores, web pages and communication campaigns promoting products, capabilities, services in the effort to generate leads and drive revenue – inclusive of Tradeshows/events, PPC & digital advertising, SEO, email, automation/drip campaigns, social media & PR/Awards
  • Dealer Development: Works with team to develop tools & programs that engage and support dealer education, growth and development – reward programs, training courses, videos, webinars, communications
  • Metric analysis of programs (web, email, social, advertising, events) for continuous optimization and improvement across brands - lead conversion tracking (CRM) and valuation + improvements in tactics, messaging, calls to action, investments
  • Collaborates with team to develop concepts, revise, edit, and refine creative work, and to constantly push the level of creative output
  • Leads client and internal meetings, professionally and enthusiastically presenting the team’s work, persuasively explaining rationale, collecting feedback, and offering solutions
  • Works with the team to identify new markets, enrich audience lists through continuous research and list building efforts
  • Works with the team in problem-solving, innovation, and creative thinking rooted in strategy
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with teammates, clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manages, executes, and monitors a variety of projects/programs related to each brand
    • Creation & maintenance of annual marketing plan & program budget/expenses
    • Project manages and prioritizes major GTM initiatives
    • Management of tactical plans and calendars/campaigns for Email, PR, social media, Video, Advertising (print/digital), Events  
    • Review & editing of email communications, PR, social posts, brochure/catalog/collateral content, product descriptions, web pages & sales tools
    • Research: Competitive research & industry trend monitoring, analysis & key takeaway establishment; voice of customer surveys & data analysis for continuous improvement and influence in program

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Business Communications
  • Min. 8-10 years of experience in B2B marketing
  • Adept at developing sales and marketing tools & marketing programs designed to foster business growth, value and make it easy & desirable to do business with the company
  • Strong proficiency and experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM Platforms, Google (Analytics, AdWords, My Business, Tag Manager), Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Commerce Cloud, Word Press, Marketing Automation platforms, various SEO software(s), ESPs, Social Media Publishing platforms
