Description

Summary/Objective 
The Marketing Manager plays a key role in advancing the family office’s brand presence, communications strategy, and marketing initiatives across its umbrella of operating companies. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution via supporting business development, public relations, internal communications, and community engagement efforts under a unified brand philosophy.

The ideal candidate is both strategic and able to be hands-on. They will be managing multiple projects both internally and via a freelance network across diverse array of industries. This person must thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values trust, professionalism, and excellence.

Strategic Planning & Brand Management

  • Develop and implement a cohesive marketing strategy that aligns with the family office’s mission, values, and long-term business objectives
  • Maintain brand consistency across all entities, ensuring visual identity and messaging reflects shared values
  • Support leadership in brand positioning for new ventures, acquisitions, and rebranding initiatives
  • Create and manage marketing budgets and timelines for both the family office and its operating companies. This results through effectively leveraging both in-house and third-party resources

Digital Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee the creation of marketing collateral, digital content, and corporate communications materials
  • Manage company websites and social media platforms. This is accomplished by ensuring professional, accurate, and timely updates across all media outlets utilized by the family office umbrella
  • Develop and execute content calendars for social media platforms across the family office and operating companies
  • Coordinate newsletters, press releases, and public announcements on behalf of the family office and operating companies
  • Coordinate the design and production of marketing materials. This includes, but is not limited to, brochures, presentations, signage, and branded merchandise
  • Work with a third-party vendor to create a product store that enables the family office, special events, & all operating companies to purchase merchandise for their respective company

Events & Public Relations

  • Oversee collateral & booth development for company events, sponsorships, and trade shows. Potential onsite assistance required
  • Plan and support company and community events, sponsorships, and client appreciation activities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize communications and culture-building events

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with leadership, operations, and finance to support marketing needs across diverse business lines
  • Partner with external creative agencies, photographers, and vendors when needed to produce professional-quality materials
  • Assist with special projects such as property announcements, philanthropic initiatives, or executive communications
  • Mentor or manage marketing support staff as needed

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track and measure performance across marketing channels
  • Provide regular reporting to leadership on key performance indicators (KPIs), ROI, and strategic insights
  • Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance marketing effectiveness

 

Required Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, preferably in a multi-entity or service-driven organization
  • Strong understanding of brand management, corporate communications, and digital marketing platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, and other design tools
  • Excellent writing, editing, and design sense with high attention to detail
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

There are no supervisory responsibilities in this role.

 

Travel Expectations

Minimal, less than 25% with occasional overnights for training when appropriate.

 

Work Environment & Physical Demands

This job operates in a clerical office setting.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copy machines.  Must be able to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.  This would require the ability to life files, opening file cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
