The Contra Costa County Office of Education is a unique agency. One of 58 counties in the state of California, Contra Costa County has the 11th largest public school student population in the state. Job Summary

Under general supervision, performs a variety of technical duties involved in the purchasing of designated supplies, equipment, and services for the County Office in accordance with purchasing policies and practices and requisition specifications; orders and accounts for inventory and supplies; contacts suppliers and gathers prices, quotes, product information, and technical data for review; and performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements / Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school supplemented by college level coursework in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field and two (2) years of experience related to purchasing supplies and equipment.
