Job Summary:
The Manager of Accounts Payable/Treasury prepares and reviews production reports for monthly financials, and supervises the Accounts Payable department.
Salary Range: $85,000/hr - $105,000/yr annually
Key Accountabilities:
Timely and accurate completion of weekly and monthly job responsibilities.
Essential Duties:
- Manage all Accounts Payable functions including policies and procedures, training, vendor registration and maintenance, expense review, and AP close process.
- Ensure bills are paid on-time, monthly AP accruals are maintained and invoices are booked to the correct locations to ensure accurate financial statements, AP is processed in a controlled environment i.e. invoices match PO, goods are received and invoices are approved in a timely manner
- Focus on driving efficiency and automation in the AP and Treasury functions
- Administration of 40+ bank accounts, including outgoing wires, internal transfers, ACH and check disbursements, stop payments, and positive pay.
- Development and maintenance of a direct method periodic cash flow forecast and treasury controls.
- Manage petty cash for all satellites and departments.
- Maintain amortization schedule of all prepaid expenses and post related journal entries.
- Administration of the corporate American Express accounts including supervision of 50+ cardmembers, membership rewards, and general inquiries/disputes.
- Monitor the continuing medical education accounts for all physicians and allied health staff to ensure submission guidelines and annual allowances are met.
- Review outstanding checks for unclaimed property and submit reports and payments to all states as necessary.
- Prepare and submit monthly use tax documentation and payments to various states.
- Timely preparation and filing of annual 1099 forms to IRS and recipients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree minimum education requirement
- Minimum of eight years of accounting experience required
- Minimum of two years of management experience required
- Accounting principles and Accounts Payable Control Processes
- NetSuite experience highly preferred
