Description
As a Murdochs.com Product Data Specialist, your primary objective will be the gathering, organizing, processing, and management of product related data and assets to showcase Murdoch’s product assortment online. This role is highly detail oriented and will work closely with Marketing, Purchasing, and the Murdochs.com Merchandising team to ensure that Murdoch’s product offerings are represented online in a complete, accurate, and timely basis.
Work Location: This position will be based out of the Home Office in beautiful Bozeman, Montana where we offer a flexible hybrid/ remote work environment.
As a Murdoch's Team Member, you will...
- Coordinate with Purchasing and outside vendors to gather product data and assets
- Review product data submitted by outside vendors for accuracy and completeness
- Ensure any requested products are complete and ready for purchase on Murdochs.com for key sales, events, and on a seasonal basis
- Manipulate and edit product assets such as images and videos for use on Murdochs.com
- Author and/or enhance product features, benefits, and intended uses for a variety of products to capture traffic and help customers make a purchase decision
- Enter and manage product data in PIM with an ownership approach to ensure data is accurate and complete
- Collaborate with fellow Murdochs.com Product Data Specialists to share best practices, QA each other’s work, establish and/or update standards, processes, and documentation
- Consistently evaluate and look for ways to improve the product onboarding process
- Work with Purchasing and outside product vendors to identify and resolve data issues in a timely manner
- Manage internal and external requests to correct and/or amend product data and assets
- Participate in trouble shooting site issues and propose and support implementation of Murdochs.com enhancements
- Other responsibilities and duties as needed
Requirements

- Expert use and application of Microsoft Excel for manipulating and managing large data sets

- B.S. in a related field of study
- Prior data/product management experience preferred
- Experience in Adobe Photoshop preferred
- Advanced use of Microsoft Windows, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proficiency with web platforms, digital asset management, and marketing workflow systems
