Compensation: $21-22/hr DOE
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and source new vendors when necessary.
- Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
- Manage and follow up on the return process for defective items at centers.
- Tracking owners manuals for each center in the event of product recalls.
Purchase Order Processing:
- Analyze procurement requirements and develop effective procurement strategies, policies and procedures to meet business standards.
- Collaborate with various departments including, center development, facilities, accounting & clinical operations to align procurement with business objectives and needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery.
- Track deliverables for new centers., e.g., wallpaper through customs, flooring materials appliances and other purchased goods.
- Monthly tracking and review of items that are broken or used for center development, facilities and clinical operations.
- New center orders and tracking; follow up on returned items.
- Maintain master purchasing lists for center development, facilities and clinical operations.
- Monitor and track orders for ensure delivery on time.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues with suppliers
- Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Analyze pricing proposals and conduct cost-benefit analysis to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend cost saving initiatives.
- Work to achieve cost reduction goals without compromising quality. Review and approve purchase requests for center admins, home region staff and facilities.
- Maximize vendor progressive pricing on renewable goods purchased for centers.
- Communicate with Amazon business vendors as needed.
- Track and reconcile center procurement costs for the center development budgets. Support Tenant Improvement Allowance tracking.
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and address any deviations or concerns.
- Collaborate with legal and other relevant departments to ensure contract integrity.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Implement risk management practices to ensure the continuity of the supply chain.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as development, facilities, inventory, finance to understand and oversee procurement needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Provide regular updates on procurement activities to relevant stakeholders.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1-2 years in procurement or purchasing position or similar coordinator level role.
- Associate’s degree or minimally a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with procurement software and systems and inventory management.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Assumes complete responsibility for assignments of moderate complexity and continues to aggressively improve skill base.
- Experience in operational planning as well as budget management.
- Good interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creativity and an ability to be proactive in problem solving.
- Online research capabilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingual preferred, but not necessary
- Ability to provide negative TB test results
- Ability to clear FBI & DOJ fingerprinting
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- A reliable car and be willing to drive daily (as required)
- Typical functions of this role include standing, sitting, and walking a majority of the time. There are occasions when kneeling, stooping, bending, or reaching may be necessary.
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 lbs. on a regular basis. There may be occasions in which the employee must be able to lift or move up to 40 lbs
