What you’ll be doing:
- Creating static and video content for publishing across Footballco’s social channels in the US, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Owning publishing calendars and output for the US-flagship GOAL USA and SoccerGirl brand accounts.
- Managing Footballco’s social accounts during the biggest moments on the soccer calendar, creating and publishing engaging content in real-time. This role includes working nights and weekends as necessary.
- Own Footballco’s social voice in the US, engaging with our audience on content across social through comments and replies.
- Working cross functionally with sales, production, and client services teams to publish branded social content.
- Assisting in creating social video formats for Footballco’s suite of longform content series.
- Assisting in rough cutting social video in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Assisting in driving social strategy to maximize views, engagement, and follower growth.
What you have:
- Previous experience in a social media role, with a portfolio of work samples to show your direct impact on driving views, engagement, and follower growth.
- Expertise in best practices across various social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and others.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
- An understanding of the digital and social media landscape
- Basic graphic design/video editing skills.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to look ahead in content planning.
- An interest in and deep knowledge of soccer and sports culture - you live and breathe the USMNT, MLS, Champions League, Premier League, and more.
- Strong time management skills and ability to consistently hit deadlines.
- Can do, agile mindset. Ability to plan ahead to meet big moments when timing is everything.
