Job Summary:

The Provider Recruitment Specialist plays a key role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding of provider candidates for Geisinger's central region surgical institute.

The specialist creates meaningful provider candidate experiences and is a central point of coordination. Manages interview itineraries, escorts candidates during onsite visits, and guides candidates through the hiring and onboarding process. Serves as a vital liaison between the provider recruiter, institute stakeholders, and department team members. Ensures smooth communication and alignment throughout the recruitment journey.

Job Duties:

  • Coordinates and manages detailed interview itineraries for provider candidates, including travel, lodging, and campus/community tours.
  • Escorts candidates during onsite visits, providing a welcoming and informative experience.
  • Supports candidates through the hiring and onboarding process, ensuring timely communication and a smooth transition.
  • Acts as a key liaison between the provider recruiter and institute stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and clear communication.
  • Collaborates with department leaders to ensure alignment of candidate needs, interview logistics, and onboarding timelines.
  • Maintains accurate documentation and tracking of candidate progress and recruitment activities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Acts as an ambassador to Geisinger’s communities to build meaningful connections to support provider recruitment efforts

This job follows a hybrid work model with a combination of remote and in-office presence.  Travel may be required.
