About This Role
- Designs and develops engaging learning solutions, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, blended learning programs, and performance support tools.
- Applies instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to create learner-focused experiences that align with clear learning objectives.
- Plans, executes, and oversees projects, ensuring timely completion within scope.
- Provides recommendations on curriculum design, revisions, and ongoing improvements to enhance learning outcomes.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Utilizes multimedia tools and technologies to create interactive, visually engaging learning content.
- Conducts needs assessments to identify learning gaps and recommend targeted solutions.
- Develops and monitors assessment strategies to measure learning effectiveness.
- Manages learning projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality and impact.
- Works independently while embracing change, prioritizing effectively, and meeting deadlines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
- Ability to design and develop engaging, effective learning experiences.
- Proficiency in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia).
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage projects effectively.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with SMEs and stakeholders.

- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in instructional or learning experience design.
- Experience designing and developing learning programs.
- Experience with multimedia development and e-learning authoring tools.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications.
- Portfolio of work demonstrating instructional design expertise.
- Facilitation or delivery experience is a plus.
- Experience with virtual reality, augmented reality, or emerging technologies is a plus.
- Frequent use of a computer, including keyboard functions and close-range visual focus.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodation.
- Ability to travel to various training locations as needed.
- Occasional travel to training sites may be required.
- Valid WA State Driver’s License, an acceptable driving record, and proof of vehicle insurance may be required, depending on location of training.
