What You’ll Do
- Assist with field work, including but not limited to: setting up cameras for traffic counts, signal timing studies, and data collection.
- Prepare and update CAD drawings for traffic signal plans, signage, ADA curb ramp design, and pavement markings.
- Assist engineers with setting up project files in a wide variety of traffic analysis software.
- Support engineers in compiling reports and documentation for projects.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure accuracy of collected data.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
What You Bring
- Valid Driver’s License
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent MS skills including Power Point, Excel, Access, Word.
- Willingness to assist with a wide range of projects and work with multiple project managers.
- High attention to detail, good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability and desire to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with coworkers, managers, and clients.
- Ability to ask for additional direction and assistance when needed.
- 0-3 years of Technical and Project-Related experience; a strong working knowledge of MicroStation a plus.
- Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field; or equivalent experience preferred.
