Locogen are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our growing group of renewable energy companies.
About our Bookkeeper Role:
The role will be responsible for maintaining accurate recordkeeping with a focus towards our purchase and sales ledger processes and covering payment runs, banking, VAT, credit control, purchase and sales invoicing.
Some of the things you might be doing:
- Processing purchase and sales invoices.
- Processing employee, credit card, and other expenses.
- Managing supplier and customer queries in a timely manner by email and phone.
- Supplier Statements reconciliations.
- Preparing payment runs and setting up payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Preparing weekly Debtors and Creditors reports for senior management.
- Preparing and assisting with CIS and VAT submissions.
- Responsible for maintaining the Accounts mailbox.
- Responsible for credit control activities.
- Assisting with cashflow forecasts.
- Maintaining accurate prepayment and accrual schedules.
- Organising and filing financial paperwork.
- Ad hoc work as required to support the Group Financial Controller and the rest of the function.
Key skills and experience we are looking for:
- Solid bookkeeping experience.
- Experience of using an ERP system (e.g. Business Central/Opera/Dynamics).
- Demonstratable experience of adapting to new systems and competent at Excel.
- Experience with CIS would be advantageous.
