What You’ll do:
Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in procurement, supply chain management, and global sourcing? Try out the Procurement Intern role! You’ll work closely with our Procurement Team to support vendor research, data accuracy, and purchasing initiatives that help our partners do good in the communities they serve.

On a typical day you will be accountable for:
As a Procurement Intern, you’ll support the team by maintaining accurate product, vendor, and purchase order data in Sage 100, conducting research on international suppliers and sourcing trends, and assisting with compliance and documentation organization in SharePoint. You’ll help create and maintain reports on purchase order progress and supplier performance, and take ownership of a special project such as supplier mapping, sustainability analysis, or benchmarking studies, presenting your findings to the procurement leadership team. Through these tasks, you’ll gain hands-on experience in data management, supplier research, and global procurement operations.
Physical Requirements:

Lift and carry 30-50 pounds throughout the workday.

Tolerate moderate to high noise level in the warehouse.

Vision abilities required are color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Perform steady pace of work while completing repetitive physical movements: stand, kneel, push and pull objects, reaching with hands and arms, etc.

Ability to work in non-air-conditioned warehouse during the summer with large fans creating moderate air flow.

Education, Experience & Proficiencies:

Hold or are working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or related fields.

Strong organizational and analytical skills
