Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Maintenance Technicians to assist with servicing and repairing automotive manufacturing equipment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work directly alongside an engineer, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced, technical environment. This is a contract role, working up to 70 hours a week and paying up to $50/hr depending upon experience. Per diem and travel pay is available to those that qualify!
Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively with an engineer to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on automotive manufacturing machinery and systems
Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
Perform preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
Ensure safety standards and procedures are followed at all times
Document maintenance activities and communicate repair needs or parts requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing equipment maintenance
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or schematics
Familiarity with automotive manufacturing equipment a plus
Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well in a team environment
