Position Overview
We are seeking a Practice Manager (Site Manager: Medical Assistant) to lead the daily operations of our Dresher clinic while providing hands-on patient care. This dual-role position combines leadership and clinical expertise, ensuring the facility runs efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of medical and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations to ensure efficiency, compliance, and exceptional patient experience.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, performance reviews, and role assignments.
- Monitor inventory, medical supplies, and equipment maintenance.
- Promote a supportive, patient-centered culture aligned with Live Urgent Care’s mission.
- Conduct operational and safety audits to ensure compliance with infection control and regulatory standards.
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and occupational health services.
- Perform lab tests, specimen collection, and screenings (drug testing, TB, audiometry, etc.).
- Support minor procedures such as wound care and suture removal.
- Accurately document patient encounters and maintain EMR compliance.
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Assist with front desk duties, including registration, scheduling, and insurance verification.

Requirements
Education:
- Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting; experience in Urgent Care is preferred
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, patients, and families
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for actions
- Open to constructive criticism and feedback when necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and third-party vendors
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of medical procedures, equipment, and instruments
- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Competence with common PC applications including Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with EKGs and Phlebotomy preferred but not required
