The HR Manager will be expected to work closely with the HR Director to safeguard company culture to include ensuring company policies are being followed while preserving the overall employee experience, de-escalate and resolve conflicts at all team member levels.
Daily Responsibilities:

Primary contact for all employee relations matters in support with HR Director

Manage workflow, expectations, and delivery of processes for HR team members

Provide employee assistance, including employee complaints, investigations, and assists with employee performance reviews

Support frontline supervisors and managers through the Corrective Action process. Draft, review, and issue while using the company's progressive discipline process within 48-hrs

Assist with periodic evaluation of compensation structure and programs to ensure that it is equitable, effective, and competitive within market

Coordinate and assist in the creation or evaluation of job descriptions in conjunction with department managers

Assists in Sr. level recruitment effort for exempt type of roles in conjunction with the hiring managers and HR Director

Coach and mentor team members from entry level through management

Develop HR solutions by collecting and analyzing HR metrics while adjusting to plant pulse

Communicate employee issues, feedback, and evaluation to department managers and HR Director
-
Maintain open door policy for company employees and routinely informally solicits employee feedback both in the office and on the production floor

Stay current with employment and labor laws and HR trends. Participate in continuing education

Validate and approve department hourly payroll records for processing

Liaison between plant operations and company HR Director

Create and submit reports on general HR metrics weekly/monthly/annually
-
Maintain documented efforts relating to current and previous year AAP efforts
-
Participate in leadership meetings to provide updates on overall HR performance

Lead Employee Experience and Engagement programs/events

Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by leadership

Other job duties as assigned by supervisor &/or manager
Qualifications
Requirements:
-
BS degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Organizational Management or equivalent years of experience in a similar HR capacity

MUST be bilingual in Spanish & English

Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends
-
Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
-
Must be able to pass pre-employement drug & alcohol drug screen
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated organizational skills; detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize; proven ability to work well in a team and adapt to changes in environment

Proven results through increased responsibility and career growth

Experience with public speaking, outreach or community relations preferred

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; public speaking skills and ability to present information to groups in various settings

Experience using Microsoft Office (MS Excel- Charts and pivot tables, Word, & PowerPoint)
