What You’ll Do
Project Leadership
- Thoroughly understand project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Lead preconstruction activities, including subcontractor qualification, bidding, and scope reviews.
- Write and manage subcontractor scopes of work.
- Oversee scheduling, procurement, RFIs, and submittals using Procore and related tools.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to promote open communication and successful outcomes.
Collaboration & Oversight
- Work closely with Preconstruction, Field Operations, and Project Engineering teams.
- Support project teams with planning, problem-solving, and proactive communication.
- Participate in and facilitate project meetings, ensuring accurate documentation and follow-up.
Continuous Improvement
- Track project progress and budgets to identify and address challenges early.
- Share insights and lessons learned to strengthen our project delivery across the organization.
- Represent the company’s values and commitment to excellence in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 - 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Manager, or equivalent.
- Working knowledge of construction practices, techniques, materials, and tools.
- Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and inspection processes.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
