🧫 What You’ll Do

Every day brings variety and purpose! You will:

• Prepare, process, embed, cut, and stain tissue specimens for diagnostic interpretation
• Perform special stains and other specialized histological procedures
• Establish and follow standard operating procedures for lab operations and equipment
• Maintain accurate workflow records, specimen logs, and archives
• Collaborate with the Lab Director and Pathologists to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure CLIA and OSHA compliance and proper disposal of hazardous waste
• Manage lab inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance

🎓 What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, biological, physical, or medical laboratory science; or
• Associate’s degree in a related field with equivalent CLIA-approved training
• HT or HTL (ASCP) certification (or eligibility)
• 3+ years of general histology experience

🌟 Bonus Points If You Have

• Knowledge of medical terminology and lab documentation systems
• Strong organization, time management, and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication — both verbal and written
• A professional attitude and commitment to confidentiality
• Experience using standard lab and office equipment
