We’re seeking a driven and hands-on General Manager to lead our Ely site, overseeing greenhouse and packhouse operations with a focus on quality, process control, and team development. This is a key leadership role, responsible for ensuring high performance, strong compliance, and an exceptional workplace culture.

You’ll take ownership of:
- Leading operations and maintaining discipline standards across the greenhouse, packhouse and facilities teams
- Driving cost control, safety, and hygiene compliance
- Coaching and developing managers to achieve operational excellence
- Embedding a culture of respect, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Reporting on site performance, compliance, and workforce development
You’ll also be part of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing to strategic planning and business-wide initiatives to ensure Ely operates efficiently, safely, and in line with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop your team to deliver consistent performance and engagement
- Ensure operational processes, standards, and audits are met across all areas
- Maintain high-quality production and site presentation standards
- Oversee risk assessments, safe systems of work, and health & safety compliance
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise labour planning, productivity, and communication
- Promote the GHG values of Ownership, Energy, Cultivate, Action, and Excellence every day
