Position Summary:

The Corporate Development Manager will report to the CLO and work closely with the CFO, Chief Transformation & Strategy Officer as well as the Executive Leadership Team as an integral part of TI Automotive’s corporate development strategy. The role will also have a high level of exposure to senior business leaders within all areas of TI Automotive. The successful candidate will have relentless attention to detail, excellent analytical capabilities (with prior experience in corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking analyst programs) and be ambitious and eager to learn. Prior experience in or passion for the automotive industry is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate and collaborate with teams across all functional areas of the organization.
  • Lead the execution of key organizational growth initiatives, including strategic partnerships and M&A transactions (buy side and sell side), including due diligence, financial evaluation, valuation analysis, business case creation, integration planning, and negotiation of key documents.
  • Manage cross-functional due diligence teams with a hands-on, team-oriented approach.
  • Execute transactions including process management, structuring, negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders during deal execution.
  • Oversee post-merger integrations, post-sale obligations and hand-off to integration teams.
  • Analyze the pro forma implications of strategic partnerships and M&A transactions on TI Automotive’s growth trajectory, business mix and margin.
  • Develop paybooks and best practices on transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate strategies and industry laws and regulations.
  • Support investor relations activities.
  • Support additional strategic and growth-related projects as needed.
  • Assist in the evaluation of capital allocation decisions alongside senior leadership team and investors.
  • Evaluate macro-level trends, track competitor strategies and communicate insights to support organizational strategy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 plus years relevant professional experience in corporate development, strategy, project management, M&A integration, or industry-specific roles.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in corporate development, strategic planning, or investment banking.
  • Strong understanding of business functions such as Legal, Finance, Marketing, HR etc.
  • Superior knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Proficient in MS Office, databases and financial software applications.
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Finance or relevant field; MBA is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work at a personal computer for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to tolerate stress

Working Conditions:

  • Occasionally lifts and carries up to 15 pounds.
  • Some of work time is spent standing, walking, lifting and bending.
  • Some extended non-traditional work hours may be required, including working from remote (home) locations.
