KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) and distributors to obtain and maintain accurate pricing for Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, and Networking products.
- Register and manage deal bids with OEMs and distributors to secure competitive pricing and partner incentives.
- Prepare and manage detailed quotes for assigned opportunities in Sage X3, following internal pricing and approval processes.
- Track and update deal registration statuses to maintain complete visibility across active opportunities.
- Work closely with Account Management to provide regular updates on quote status, open opportunities, and supplier responses.
- Support customer, account, and finance team queries related to pricing, quoting, and invoicing.
- Coordinate with Order Management to ensure a smooth handover once purchase orders are received.
- Maintain organised records of pricing data, quote revisions, bid registrations, and supplier communications for reporting and audit purposes.
- Maintain monthly supplier pricing catalogues, ensuring all cost, discount, and SKU data is current and consistent.
- Track and update product lifecycle information, including end-of-life (EOL) transitions and replacements.
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA
- 2+ years’ experience in a Sales Operations, Sales Support, Inside Sales, or similar role with a solid understanding of the supply chain process.
- Proven experience preparing accurate and competitive quotes and managing pricing data.
- Strong understanding of key commercial concepts, including list and cost pricing, markups, landed costs, revenue, forecasting, and profitability metrics such as gross, net, and landed margin.
- Strong understanding of the commercial elements involved in buying, reselling, and registering bids for hardware and services.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of assigned tasks through to completion, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all outputs.
- Experience using quoting, procurement, or account management systems.
- High level of numeracy and analytical ability.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully across diverse teams.
- Strong commercial awareness.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem solving, with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
- Willingness to contribute as part of a team in a fast-moving, growing global organisation.
- Experience working within Audio Visual, Video Conferencing, or Networking environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools such as Cisco CCW, Sage X3, and Jira is a plus.
