Are you looking to break into the surveying and engineering field? We’re seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CAD Draftsman. This is a great opportunity for someone just starting out or transitioning into the industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting a variety of surveying projects.
What You’ll Do
- Process field data and organize project files
- Create survey drawings and plats using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Draft legal descriptions and technical documentation
- Perform basic calculations and support project managers with administrative tasks
What You Bring
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Preferred (but not required):
- Some coursework in surveying, civil engineering, or related field
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
- Prior exposure to construction or surveying environments
- Interest in pursuing surveying certifications
