About the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Strategic Account Executive with a proven history of selling SaaS solutions in the assessment, certification, credentialing, or related industry.
This role is ideal for a consultative, quota-crushing sales professional who knows how to penetrate complex organizations, build lasting relationships, and close six-figure deals with technology companies, professional associations, and healthcare organizations.
As a Strategic Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle from pipeline creation through contract close while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver best-in-class solutions. You’ll be responsible for building a robust pipeline with the help of marketing, executing a disciplined sales process, and consistently meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
What You’ll Do
- Drive new logo acquisition and revenue growth by selling our SaaS solution and services to late-stage startup, middle-market, and enterprise organizations in the assessment and certification market.
- Develop and execute a territory plan targeting technology enterprises, professional associations, and healthcare organizations.
- Consistently build, manage, and forecast a high-quality sales pipeline using HubSpot and our full GTM tech stack.
- Lead consultative sales cycles with C-suite and senior decision-makers, presenting clear value propositions that align with client objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver tailored solutions that drive measurable client impact.
- Own contract negotiations and guide deals to successful close.
- Represent the company at client meetings, conferences, and industry trade shows.
- Consistently achieve or exceed annual revenue and quota goals.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of successful SaaS sales experience, ideally in the assessment, certification, credentialing, or edtech space.
- A strong track record of meeting and exceeding annual quotas ($1M+ ARR preferred).
- Experience selling into organizations building their first program as well as middle market and enterprise-level clients looking to improve their existing program.
- Expertise in building and managing a sales pipeline with disciplined forecasting.
- Exceptional ability to lead complex, consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong executive presence and superior presentation skills (virtual and in-person).
