Job Summary
Asbury Theological Seminary is seeking a dedicated Student Worker to provide support to the Office of Student Life. This role involves assisting with hands-on tasks to enhance the student experience and support a vibrant community.
Responsibilities
- Support Women's and Men's Formation, Marriage Community, and any other Formation group events by assisting with event setup, attending group activities, and handling related tasks.
- Aid Disability Services by providing support with accommodations and managing resources as is appropriate.
- Assist with Intramurals and other Student Life related sports groups by setting up equipment, supporting game activities, and encouraging student participation.
- Provide practical support to the Housing Team during the moving periods, including assisting in setting up dwelling units and paperwork.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the Office of Student Life.
Qualifications
- Current enrollment as a student at Asbury Theological Seminary
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive community
- Flexibility to work 10-20 hours per week, with some evening or weekend hours as needed for events
