Invision Sally Jobe (ISJ) is a network of imaging centers built and managed through a partnership between Radiology Imaging Associates and HealthOne. Our imaging centers are conveniently located throughout the South Denver area and offer a variety of exams using state of the art equipment. Our services include MRI, CT, digital mammography, ultrasound, pain management, DXA, X-Ray, and image guided biopsies. Summary of Position:
The Medical Records Team Lead oversees the daily operations of the Medical Records department, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling of all patient information and record requests. This role provides leadership, guidance, and training to department staff while maintaining efficient workflows that support patient care, billing, compliance, and audit readiness. The Team Lead serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding medical records requests, imaging coordination, and data integrity.
Job Responsibilities:
Directly lead and support the medical records staff in processing requests, indexing documentation, and maintaining accurate electronic health records
Monitor department workflows to ensure compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies related to the release of information.
Coordinate and delegate daily assignments to ensure timely completion of imaging requests, data entry, and record transfers.
Serve as the departmental liaison for internal teams (e.g., billing, clinical operations, and patient access) and external entities requesting records.
Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to team members; identify opportunities for skill development and process improvement.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of scanned and uploaded records and images within the EHR and imaging systems.
Oversee the fulfillment of legal and billing record requests in accordance with organizational standards.
Participate in audits and assist with data validation, documentation review, and compliance reporting.
Identify and assist to implement process enhancements to improve turnaround times, quality, and efficiency within the department.
Maintain knowledge of current regulations and best practices related to medical records management
Perform additional duties as required to support departmental and organizational goals.

Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Advanced medical terminology required
- 3-5 years of medical records experience preferred
- Previous clerical and customer service background preferred
- Excellent customer service

- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
Compensation for this role is between $25 to $30 per hour
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Invision Sally Jobe's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role, and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position will receive applications on an ongoing basis and will remain open until filled.
