CAFETERIA VAN DRIVER
This is a 190 Day/4 hour a day position. There are 2 open positions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High school diploma or equivalency.
- Demonstrates aptitude for successful performance of the responsibilities listed below.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the board may find appropriate or acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Director of Building and Grounds
JOB GOAL: To deliver lunches to the satellite kitchens in an efficient, clean, and punctual manner.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses the cafeteria van to satellite food from the central kitchens to the designated schools.
- Picks-up daily receipts and makes the daily bank deposits.
- Maintains a sufficient time schedule in getting to and from the schools.
- Returns all pots, pan, supplies, unused food, etc., to the central kitchens.
- Keeps the cafeteria van in a sanitary condition and reports any problems to the Director of Food Service.
- Distributes to the central kitchens any government commodities which are stored in the central freezer.
- Maintains records of distribution and inventory of government donated foods and items in warehouse and submits these to the Director of Food Service daily and turns in monthly inventory as required.
- Distributes any other food or non-food items whenever necessary as directed by the Director of Food Service.
- Assists in the rotation and replenishment of stock as designated by the Director of Food Service or Head Cook.
- Performs any other reasonable duties as directed by the Director of Food Services or Director of Building and Grounds, for the general well being of the student.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and benefits to be determined in accordance with the negotiated agreement between Crawford Central Board of School Directors and Crawford Central Educational Support Professional Association.
EVALUATION: Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on evaluation of non-professional personnel by the Director of Building and Grounds.
