Emma Willard School seeks a part-time Driver to transport student(s) to and from off campus activities (such as lessons, college classes, internships or other community commitments).

Key Areas of Responsibility
- Safely drive students to and from off-campus commitments
- Punctual and collegial
- Keep accurate records of attendance
- Timely communication for the safe and efficient pick-up of students.
- Daily inspection of the vehicle and maintaining accurate records of trips.
- Be a positive force in the lives of students.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and best practices
- Have a good working knowledge of Google platforms (especially email and Google Calendar)
- Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to manage priorities
- Demonstrate superior judgment
- Be an advocate for the Emma Willard School mission
Physical Demands/Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Exposure to outside weather conditions, rain, snow, sleet, high winds, etc.
- May be required to work beyond the scheduled time to ensure the safe transport of student(s).
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies
- Previous professional driving experience (School Bus, CEVO/EVOC, private service, medicab/ambulette, ride share services, etc.)
- Experience working with teenagers.
- Flexible schedule, able to add one-off trips in addition to recurring ones.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
Compensation:
The driver will be compensated at a rate of $23/hour with a minimum of one hour.
