Status: Full-time or Part-time Seasonal, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
Working Hours: Varied hours/shifts, fluctuates with time of season, weekends and holidays typical
Wage: $17.50 per hour

Position Summary: Transporting riders via shuttle bus, providing speedy point-to-point service or covering a route with limited stops. Primarily transporting participants of the international student work/travel program during winter season.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
• Arrive to work on time and drive transport vehicles following a set schedule or route, must gain familiarity with assigned routes by studying maps if necessary and reading reports.
• Safety is primary, inspects vehicle at the beginning and end of shift to ensure that it is functioning properly. Ensures that passengers and luggage are safely loaded and unloaded from vehicle.
• Follows all traffic laws and posted speed limits, even at the expense of arriving late to their destinations. Reports unsafe conditions or road hazards to supervisor as necessary.
• Documents mechanical difficulties with vehicle and communicates needed repairs to mechanic.
• Exhibits ability to interact and converse intelligently with guests and other employees in a positive, helpful manner. Is polite and professional, and ensures passengers are satisfied with their ride.
• Supports harmony and good will with all staff and Resort departments.
• Familiarity with all the facilities at Wisp Resort including locations and hours of operation.
• Exhibits ability to be dependable, to perform repetitive routine tasks while remaining alert at all times and to be patient when dealing with traffic and rude riders. Contacts supervisor if problematic situations escalate.
Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees ability without minimum education requirement
• Previous transportation/driving experience helpful, though not required
Language Skills:
• Basic English
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Mathematical Skills:
• Basic math
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• DOT Medical Card required in most cases
• Driver’s License, unrestricted, with insurable driving record
