Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and monitoring pilot-scale water treatment systems to test and evaluate new treatment processes.
This position involves working with advanced water treatment technologies, troubleshooting issues, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and contributing to the optimization of water treatment processes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of water treatment principles and the ability to work effectively in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with and oversee subcontractor installing the Pilot system.
Configure, operate, monitor, and maintain pilot-scale water treatment systems, ensuring proper functionality and efficiency.
Perform regular testing and analysis of water quality parameters to assess treatment performance and provide data for process optimization. Adjust process parameters and make operational adjustments based on results and analysis. Preparation of chemicals.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to equipment performance, system operation, or water quality. Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs of equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations. Maintain accurate records of system operations, data, maintenance activities, and any incidents or issues encountered.
Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and other team members to evaluate the performance of new water treatment technologies and processes.
Ensure all safety protocols and environmental regulations are followed while operating the pilot plant.
Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and presentations related to pilot plant operations and performance.
Participate in training and continuous learning opportunities to stay updated on the latest water treatment technologies and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications
5 years of related experience.
Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands.
Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
