Description

The Information Security Administrator (ISA) is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Bank’s Information Security Program. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and compliance.  Additionally, the ISA will be intimately involved with the implementation, monitoring and tracking of all AI (artificial Intelligence) program. The ISA works closely with executive leadership, IT, and all departments to manage risk, respond to incidents, and promote a culture of security awareness.

 

 

Essential Functions:

    • Develop, maintain, and oversee the Bank’s s Information Security Program, including related policies, procedures, and board reporting
    • Monitor and enforce information security controls, conduct risk assessments, and coordinate incident response efforts.
    • Work with virtual ISO and internal management to ensure ongoing compliance, testing, documentation, and regulatory readiness.
    • Lead investigations and reporting of security events; maintain incident documentation and escalate significant events to the Board as required.
    • Provide quarterly and annual Information Security Program updates to Executive Management and the Board.
    • Oversee AI governance, including risk review, security evaluation, and compliance for AI tools and models used across the bank
    • Coordinate AI project implementation as assigned by the CEO, including vendor management, timeline tracking, and cross-department execution to completion.
    • Ensure AI usage aligns with privacy, security, and operational standards, update policies and procedures accordingly.
    • Provide training and awareness programs for staff regarding information security and responsible AI use.
    • Serve as the primary liaison with regulators, auditors, and third parties regarding information security and AI-related controls.
    • Stay current on cybersecurity, AI regulatory guidance, and emerging risks; provide recommendations to executive leadership.
    • Assume responsibility for oversight of the bank’s physical security policies and procedures. 
    • Additional assignments as designated by the CEO.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information security, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 3+ years of information security experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Experience with risk assessments, incident response, and security program oversight.
  • Understanding of banking operations and technology workflows.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools and ability to evaluate third-party/vendor technology.
  • Strong communication skills, including board-level reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
