Position Overview:
The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting a wide range of HR functions including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and managers, ensuring HR policies and programs are effectively implemented and aligned
Position Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers on HR-related inquiries and issues.
- Administer employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and internal transfers.
- Support recruitment efforts by coordinating job postings, screening candidates, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist in the administration of benefits programs and respond to employee questions.
- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in HRIS systems.
- Support employee relations by helping resolve workplace issues and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Coordinate training and development initiatives in partnership with L&D.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Prepare HR reports and metrics for leadership review.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR or related roles.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, BambooHR).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
Desired Qualities:
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience in a fast-paced or multi-site environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to HR service delivery.
