Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent implementation of quality policies, procedures, and programs across all departments and facilities
  • Lead internal and external audits, including planning, documentation, and guiding management in developing corrective action plans
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Act as a liaison between production, engineering, sales, and other departments to resolve quality-related issues
  • Evaluate staffing needs and optimize workflows to meet departmental objectives
  • Oversee reporting and analysis of quality issues, including errors and non-conformities
  • Supervise plant quality representatives to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with customers and suppliers to address quality concerns and implement effective corrective actions
  • Manage administrative functions such as employee development, safety, budgeting, performance planning, and goal setting
  • Mentor and lead team members, applying experience and sound judgment to achieve strategic goals
  • Execute special projects and assignments as directed by leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quality Manager in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment
  • Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged use of a personal computer
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and carrying up to 30 lbs. regularly
  • Comfortable working in factory and lab environments with exposure to heat, cold, moisture, and chemicals
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting

Work Environment

  • Automotive components manufacturing, office, and laboratory settings
