At ReMarkets, the Security & Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the physical security and facility operations of the ReMarkets site. This position ensures the protection of people, property, and assets while maintaining a secure, clean, and efficient work environment. The Manager will coordinate with third-party vendors for security and facility maintenance, manage contracts and budgets, and provide operational leadership in emergency response and risk management.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):
- Security Management
- Oversee contracted security personnel and ensure compliance with company standards and policies.
- Serve as the primary contact for all security-related issues, incidents, and investigations.
- Conduct regular security audits, access control reviews, and risk assessments.
- Develop and enforce site security protocols, including visitor management and facility access.
- Respond to and coordinate appropriate responses to emergencies or incidents on site.
- Maintain accurate records of security incidents and vendor performance.
- Lead training and awareness initiatives to reinforce site security practices.
- Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws regarding physical security and facility management.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and records to support audits or inspections.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with company standards and requirements.
- Risk Management
- Identify potential risks to people, property, and assets through proactive assessments.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions or enhancements to mitigate identified risks.
- Coordinate investigations of theft, vandalism, or other incidents and implement corrective measures.
- Emergency Preparedness
- Develop, maintain, and regularly test emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Coordinate drills and training exercises for employees and contractors.
- Serve as the point of contact with emergency services and local authorities.
- Facilities Management
- Oversee facility maintenance, housekeeping, and grounds operations through internal staff and third-party contractors.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and performance for facilities-related services.
- Plan and schedule preventative maintenance for facility equipment, building systems, and company-owned/leased property.
- Manage facility-related budgets, inventory, and parts to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
- Coordinate building improvements, repairs, and capital projects.
- Manage and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (P.I.T.) equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Qualifications
What You Bring (requirements):
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Security Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security, facilities management, or related field, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing third-party vendors and service contracts.
- Strong knowledge of access control, surveillance systems, and emergency response planning.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on-site and respond to off-hour emergencies as needed.
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion. Confidentiality and discretion are imperative for this role

Work Environment
This role is based at our Greencastle facility and involves a combination of office work and time spent on the shop floor. You’ll need to navigate a busy, industrial environment where safety is a top priority. The shop floor can be noisy and active, requiring adherence to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed. The role involves walking throughout the facility, climbing stairs, bending, reaching, kneeling, and occasionally lifting items up to 50 lbs. You must be able to respond quickly to emergencies or incidents, including during off-hours if needed. You’ll engage regularly with operations teams, balancing desk work with hands-on support to ensure smooth processes, safe operations, and effective communication across departments.
