Location: Elkin or Wilkesboro
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 8-hour days, with flexibility to start between 7 AM and 9 AM.
- Weekend Rotation: Every 8th weekend.

Join Our Team
Mountain Valley Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for a compassionate and reliable Registered Nurse to provide skilled hospice visits and short-term patient support in the Elkin and Wilkesboro areas. This role is perfect for an experienced nurse who enjoys flexibility and variety — offering the chance to make a meaningful difference without the ongoing caseload of a case manager.
What You'll Do
Provide PRN and scheduled nursing visits for hospice patients in home and facility settings
Assess and manage symptoms, provide education, and ensure patient comfort
Support the clinical team by covering for planned and unplanned absences
Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care
Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
Current RN license in North Carolina or compact license
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience; hospice or home health preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
